I graduated from Xavier University in 2019 and started apprenticing under Jesse in 2020. My very first piercings were a set of lobes on a fellow apprentice back in 2021.
Ear styling is what I most love to do! But daith piercings specifically are my favorite to perform. I feel super blessed to be part of such an amazing team here at Luminous and find myself growing and learning every day. When I'm not piercing, you'll likely still see me around at the counter or working on social media content!
Outside of the studio I enjoy spending time with my partner and family, painting, attending yoga classes, hiking with my dogs, and checking out local plant shops and breweries.

My career in this industry started in January 2017 in Cincinnati! I was fortunate enough to be offered a job piercing on the Las Vegas Strip where I pierced for about a year and a half. But am happy to be back in Ohio and part of the Luminous crew. My favorite piercings to do are flat piercings with big decorative ends and tragus piercings.
In my free time I love playing Dungeons & Dragons, watching anime with my cats, and spending entirely too much money on sneakers

I began my apprenticeship in 2008 and helped open Hybrid Image Piercing (now Luminous) back in 2017. Happy to say that I have been working here ever since and am now the proud owner!
One of my favorite things to work on are unique placement piercings, especially when given a lot of freedom in the placement and jewelry style! I may only pierce twice a week these days but you'll see me around quite a bit working hard on making the studio the best I can offer!
When I'm not in the studio I like to stay busy! Some of my hobbies include: Swing Dancing, Obstacle Course Racing, Cycling, Rock Climbing, building classic cars, hiking and camping.

I started out as a counter kid in my local studio in 2012 and as I watched the piercers smoothly work through the day I thought I'd never be cool enough to pierce one day. Fast forward to today and I can confirm- I'm definitely not cool enough! But that doesn't mean I don't treasure every bit of it (:
I love showing people how truly brave and beautiful they are. Watching them look in the mirror for the first time and smile ear-to-ear after conquering a fear or taking ownership of their body with a new piercing is what I love most! My favorite piercings to perform include stacked lobes, paired nostrils, philtrums, and all first piercing experiences.
Outside of the studio you can typically find me running around with my kiddos or hanging out at any live music event.

Hi everyone! I'm Allie! I'm a professional piercer but my other job is being a mom. When I'm not at work, I'm usually hanging out with my fam. Parks and walking trails are our favorite thing to do. We also love getting cozy on the couch and watching an abundant amount of movies. Outside of that, I love thrifting, hiking and going to local shows.
I've been piercing since 2019 and my favorite piercings to perform are lobes, conch, flats, and double nostrils. Honestly.. just give me all the symmetrical piercings! I am so grateful I get to pursue my dream job every day.

Hi I'm Azyah! I couldn't be more grateful or excited to be here as part of the team at Luminous! I have been in the industry since 2022, learning all that I could and gaining experience in different studios. Piercing is a huge passion of mine that I hold close to my heart. I knew long ago that this is what I wanted to do and have strived for it since.
